The Help to Buy Scheme is an incentive for first-time home buyers. The incentive helps you with the deposit you require to build or purchase a new home. It gives you a refund of Deposit Interest Retention Tax and Income Tax which you paid in Ireland that you can put towards putting a deposit down on your home.

To be eligible, the property you purchase or build must be your home. It must never have been used prior or been suitable to use as a residential property. Before you apply, you must be registered with Revenue. Once you do that, you will easily find the application form and all the steps on Revenue.
